Terms of Service
Effective date: August 13, 2026. These terms govern your use of the NextRange Mobile website and your participation in our private beta waitlist. NextRange Mobile is "NextRange," "we," "us," or "our" below; you are "you."
What NextRange is, right now
NextRange is currently in private beta. Joining a waitlist is a request for an invitation, not a purchase, and doesn't guarantee you access. Features, pricing, and device compatibility shown on this site are current estimates and may change before general availability.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to join a NextRange waitlist or activate a beta account. NextRange itself is intended for use by a parent or guardian managing a connected device on behalf of their child; it isn't a service offered directly to children.
Your account
If you're invited to the beta and activate an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Provide false information when joining a waitlist or activating an account.
- Attempt to circumvent our signup rate limits or abuse our forms.
- Use the site or service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm NextRange, other users, or our service providers.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
We can suspend or terminate access for violating these terms.
The readiness quiz
Our first-phone readiness quiz is informational only. It's meant to help you think through whether a data-only, parent-controlled connection fits your situation; it isn't a guarantee of eligibility, compatibility, or fitness for any particular child or device, and it isn't professional advice of any kind.
Device compatibility
We publish device compatibility information as a guide, sourced and audited against manufacturer specifications. We update it as new devices launch, but we can't guarantee every listed device will work for your specific unit, carrier history, or region. See our device compatibility list before relying on it for a purchase decision.
Intellectual property
The NextRange name, logo, and site content are owned by NextRange Mobile or our licensors. You may view and use the site for its intended purpose (learning about and signing up for NextRange), but you may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from our content without permission.
No warranty
The site and beta program are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Because this is a private beta, expect rough edges: bugs, downtime, and incomplete features are part of the deal.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextRange isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or beta program.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where NextRange is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page as NextRange moves toward general availability, when these terms will need to expand to cover billing, cancellation, and data-plan specifics. We'll update the effective date above when we make material changes.
