Rollover Data and No Overages Explained

NextRange is designed around a simple idea: data should pause when it runs out, not surprise you with automatic overage charges.

The details matter, especially for rollover.

Monthly data grant

Each plan has a monthly data grant. For example, a 2 GB plan starts each billing cycle with 2 GB of fresh monthly data.

Rollover cap

Unused data can roll over on top of the next month's grant, up to a cap. The cap is not counted inside the monthly grant.

That means:

• 2 GB monthly + up to 5 GB rollover = up to 7 GB usable at the start of a cycle.
• 5 GB monthly + up to 12 GB rollover = up to 17 GB usable at the start of a cycle.

Rollover does not accumulate forever. Once the rollover bank reaches its cap, extra unused data does not keep stacking.

Shared family data

The planned family model uses one shared data bank. Additional child devices add monthly data to the family pool rather than creating totally separate buckets for each device.

The business-plan assumption is:

• Base plan includes the first child/device.
• Each additional child/device adds 1 GB/month.
• Each additional child/device increases the rollover cap by 1 GB.

Top-ups

Top-ups are planned to be separate data buckets that apply after monthly allowance and rollover are used. They are planned to expire 12 months from purchase and not count against the rollover cap.

No automatic overages

When available data runs out, access pauses instead of automatically charging more. Families can wait for the next cycle or add more data.

Usage freshness

Mobile data usage can lag. During beta, usage displays may include freshness or estimated-use labels, especially for Max Coverage validation.

That means the parent dashboard should be treated as a helpful control surface, not a second-by-second meter.
