Microsoft Surface (5G/LTE models) supports a standard user-installable eSIM and works with NextRange’s parent-controlled data plans.

The same laptop model may be sold with or without WWAN hardware. Having Windows 11 does not imply eSIM capability. Confirm the computer has an LTE/5G WWAN modem and an EID/eSIM option.

Before you buy

Confirm the device has an EID and can add a downloadable eSIM before purchasing a plan. That’s the surest sign it accepts one.

CheckSettings → Network & internet → Cellular → eSIM profiles → Add profile
